Thank you for visiting our website (including our events/activities pages), which has been developed and now runs in the frame of the Horizon 2020 Innovation Action ENRICH in the USA. ENRICH in the USA represents a strong consortium of 6 leading research and information technology stakeholders in Europe and the USA. More information about the consortium of ENRICH in the USA can be found here.

The goal of ENRICH in the USA is to act as a central contact point for European research and innovation actors seeking to grow, reinforce collaboration, as well as find commercialization paths across the Atlantic. It serves the needs of EU innovators by providing services and offering soft-landing opportunities across the USA, including through Landing Hubs, as such embarking them to a journey in internationalization to the USA, and embedding them into welcoming and nurturing local ecosystems. ENRICH in the USA supports ecosystems, clusters, and R&D centers, seeking to grow their entrepreneurs/start-ups/SMEs.

In this context, your privacy is important for us and we are committed to protect it in accordance with the European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, hereafter referred to as the "Regulation") as in force. Legitimate reasons for lawful processing your personal information is the legitimate interest of the ENRICH in the USA consortium to promote the project outcomes as more specifically described in the Introduction, in order to meet contractual obligations in that context.


Storage and deletion of personal information that we process

Any personal information you are providing us through the Website or related websites and media, or by completing our online forms is securely stored only for as long as necessary for us to comply with our contractual obligations to the funding authority of ENRICH in the USA  namely the European Commission, and no longer than 2 years from ENRICH in the USA project’s completion unless otherwise required for the defense of legal claims arising from the ENRICH in the USA project contract or as otherwise required by compulsory law.


Security of personal information that we process

TELECOM LUXEMBOURG International, as the responsible party to host the website, applies all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure safe processing of personal data and to prevent the accidental loss or destruction and unauthorized and / or illegal access to, use, modification or disclosure thereof. In assessing the appropriate level of security and in the process of selecting and implementing suitable technical and organizational measures, TELECOM LUXEMBOURG International takes into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing, as well as the risks that are presented by processing, in particular from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed, and additionally, the risk of varying likelihood and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons. TELECOM LUXEMBOURG International is in charge of the management of the website on behalf of ENRICH in the USA.


Community Management Platform

Personal data of ENRICH in the USA clients, ambassadors and other involved stakeholders who accept the privacy policy will be entered in the ENRICH in the USA Community Management Platform (CMP) to store and process their personal data, and to maximise ENRICH in the USA support, communication, and engagement. The user in CMP has full control of his/her information and they can also interact with others through the platform. Personal data will remain confidential between the user and the ENRICH in the USA consortium. Only the username of the user will be visible to the public – this can be modified by the user as in any community management platform, e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn.The CMP will enable the user to manage and administer his/her data transparently, as such enabling to easily exercise the user’s right to access, rectify, delete or oppose his/her personal data, as well as unsubscribe at any time. No user can access data of someone else.
